There will be great earthquakes, and in various places famines and pestilences. And there will be terrors and great signs from heaven.
For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places; there will be famines. These are but the beginning of the birth pains.

And there was a panic in the camp, in the field, and among all the people. The garrison and even the raiders trembled, the earth quaked, and it became a very great panic.
I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming.

For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray. ...

Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea,
You will be visited by the
Lord of hosts with thunder and with earthquake and great noise, with whirlwind and tempest, and the flame of a devouring fire.

Lord.” And behold, the
Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore the mountains and broke in pieces the rocks before the
Lord, but the
Lord was not in the wind. And after the wind an earthquake, but the
Lord was not in the earthquake.
